A Message From Our President |
If your profession involves you in a part of the commercial real estate transaction and you are looking for an organization that will give you access to outstanding professionals in collateral businesses, you have come to the right place. CREW-Miami, locally and CREW Network nationally are the premiere organizations for those of us who work in these industries.
CREW-Miami provides educational programs at our monthly lunches that will keep you abreast of issues and trends in our community. We invite top national and local professionals as speakers and panelists. As a member, you are also invited to exclusive member-only events that enable you to meet with other members, grow your business and exchange business referrals.
In 2008 we are launching a Make the Ask campaign. Make the Ask is a regional awareness and educational campaign designed to inspire assertiveness among women throughout the industry and generate more deals among our members. Our members’ only and signature events
are good places for members to build the relationships to be a part in these deals.
Six years ago we launched two signature events, a deep sea fishing tournament in May and a Fall Cocktails, Community and Connections party in November. The fishing tournament, which features a broker's challenge, has grown to an event with over 100 anglers and another 100 who come to the weigh in party to hear the many fish stories from the day. Some of the proceeds from this event are used to support CREW Foundation and CREW Careers. Annually our Chapter picks a high school and introduces young women to the many varied careers that are available to them in our industry. This year we have chosen Booker T. Washington Senior High for our CREW Careers project. The Fall Cocktails, Community and Connections party has raised more than $100,000 for Women’s Funds grants to programs that create economic self-sufficiency, provide job skills training and give at-risk women and girl’s access to the opportunities they need to be successful in life.
