CREW-Miami’s Campaign Empowers and Educates Industry Professionals to Achieve Long-Term Success

 Leading commercial real estate association also announces 2016 board leadership.

MIAMI, FL – March 2016 – Commercial Real Estate Women Miami (CREW-Miami), a chapter of the national organization focusing on the advancement of women in commercial real estate, announces its 2016 board of directors and launch of CREW-Miami: It’s the Place to Be. This regional campaign aims to empower real estate professionals to learn, share and connect through CREW-Miami to reach their full potential and succeed in Miami’s real estate industry.

Spearheading the CREW-Miami: It’s the Place to Be campaign is Cristina Lumpkin, CREW-Miami’s 2016 president and partner in Bilzin Sumberg’s environmental group. Under her leadership, the organization encourages members to take networking to the next level to make meaningful business connections that can lead to closing new deals and generating referrals and leads for future business. CREW-Miami has also arranged thought-provoking panels that examine timely industry topics, including the economic and environmental impacts of sea level rise, redevelopment along the Miami River, the state of affordable housing, and Miami’s retail boom, among others.

“It is an exciting time for Miami’s commercial real estate industry, as we are experiencing high levels of investment and development across all sectors and asset types. Miami is attracting investment from all over the world, and our organization’s membership numbers are stronger than ever, truly making CREW-Miami The Place to Be,” Lumpkin said. “This year, our panel programs will tackle key issues and challenges Miami faces, with the goal of educating our members on timely topics and helping to drive our industry forward.”

Aiding the campaign initiatives this year is CREW-Miami’s 2016 Board of Directors, which consists of industry leaders and rising professionals. The board members are:
