CREW Miami Announces its Annual Award Recipients

Annual Awards ceremony recognized members for their outstanding accomplishments in the real estate industry and continued commitment to the organization and community

MIAMI, FL January 2015 – Concluding an exceptional year, CREW Miami, the Miami chapter of the leading commercial real estate association Commercial Real Estate Women, recognized at its December awards luncheon those professionals who excelled in all fields of commercial real estate and made significant contributions to the business and civic community.

As host to the national 2014 CREW Network Convention and Marketplace, which drew more than 1,000 national CREW members, the Miami chapter saw a breakthrough year with continued membership growth and expansion of its mentorship and scholarship initiatives. 

Recipients of CREW Miami’s 2014 leadership and excellence in commercial real estate awards are:

  • Networking Deal of the Year Award – Transaction Value Above $2 million

Deal: the $57 million sale of 1400 and 1444 Biscayne Boulevard in Miami.

  • Networking Deal of the Year Award – Transaction Value Below $2 million

Deal: Vendor services valued for office building at 355 Alhambra Circle in Coral Gables.

  • Lorraine Ferguson, Beltmann Group
  • Stephen Tewes, Tewes Design Group 
  • Outstanding Leadership: these two members worked as CREW Miami’s co-chairs for the national convention, spearheading the chapter’s fundraising efforts for this major event.
  • Suzanne Amaducci-Adams, Bilzin Sumberg Baena Price & Axelrod, LLP
    and Diana Parker, CBRE
  • Outstanding Mover and Shaker: the honoree is a consummate professional, one of Miami’s leading brokers as well as a past president of CREW Miami and president-elect of the Realtors Commercial Alliance.
  • Maria Juncadella, Fairchild Partners
  • Star Award: publications such as Real Estate Forum have recognized her as one of Tomorrow’s Leaders in the Southeast and the Daily Business Review as one of the Top Dealmakers of the Year. She is on the Florida Super Lawyers’ Stars list and also led CREW Miami over the past year as its 2014 president.
  • Karyl Argamasilla, Bilzin Sumberg Baena Price & Axelrod, LLP
  • Mentor of the Year: an outstanding mentor who exemplifies professionalism and has served as mentor to many in the commercial real estate industry.
  • Margaret Nee, Pointe Group Advisors
  • Unsung Hero: awarded to a longtime CREW Miami member, past president and winner of the Mentor of the Year award twice. She dedicated her time to make CREW Miami’s Annual Fishing Tournament a success and provided significant support to the national convention.
  • Gayle Bainbridge, Global Risk LLC
  • President’s Award: members who led efforts to plan luncheon panels, secure speakers, and develop successful marketing and public relations campaigns to maximize exposure for the CREW Network Convention held in Miami.

  • New Member of the Year: immediately put her time and talent to work upon joining the organization, hosting member events and encouraging her company to sponsor.
